Richmond

Southeast Portland, about 2.83 miles from downtown, in Multnomah County.

Sidewalk coverage in Richmond, estimated at 87%, is higher than in 95% of Portland neighborhoods, and that was the figure that first held my attention. My records also show a median build year of 1914, older than 85% of the city, with Bungalow the most common style at 32% among the homes the historic survey recorded (it did not cover every home). Lots average 4,710 sq ft, smaller than 85% of the city's. Sewallcrest Park is one of the green spaces I mapped.

I pulled these from OpenStreetMap: the nearest named restaurants and cafes, starting inside the neighborhood and measured from its edge. Places marked Patio have outdoor seating, from my research for Outdoor Seating Near Me, my other site; the photos come from that research too.
